The Xtag baby tag is a sophisticated advanced solid state solution designed for use within a busy obstetrics department. The combination of the latest advances in electronics allied to clever design makes the tag a reliable hitech solution.

The tag automatically detects that the presence of the strap, switching on immediately upon attachment and transmitting a tamper condition if the strap is cut or disconnected. The Xtag system monitors the tag continuously and reports abnormal conditions.

Tags are reusable and have a warranted life of one year. With a battery life of 3 years (at 50% duty cycle). When not in use they conserve battery power by sleeping, immediately re awakening upon attachment of the strap. They are waterproof and can be cleaned as required.
