The Portable Dementia Management (PDMS) module is an
innovative design offering an excellent and cost effective
solution to the aged care industry and a high level of flexibility.
It has been specifically designed for circumstances where a
room may not always be configured for residents with
dementia.
The Sedcare system has been designed to monitor residents in
their room in an unobtrusive manner. It will report on behaviour
outside of a resident’s normal activity by providing visual and
audible alarms to alert staff of any situation that may require
their attention. The system is also capable of automating
various room functions such as switching on lights when a
resident gets out of bed.
Installation of the Portable Dementia Management System has
been simplified using the “plug and Play” principle utilising a
single 20 pin connector that plugs into a pre-wired SEDCO
Portable Outlet Socket.
