On the 5^th and 6^th of August 2009 KTR joined the National CarePlus Distributors Conference in the MLC Building Sydney, NSW. CarePlus National Managing Director Andrew Rothon along with Nathan Buzzer Executive Vice President / General Manager of Amcom Commtech Wireless presented two major workshops on the 5^th over viewing new product development and the release of the Improved patient care – Care management and Information Systems - White Paper.

With all National distributors and some international distributors present it was an exciting event with some really innovative new products released. The National CarePlus Distributor Conference held yearly gives all Distributors and opportunity to view new product releases, attend training seminars and discuss with industry peers the future of Healthcare.

One of the most talked about topics was the new Patient Entertainment System with Medical Records display Interface. A single touch screen that incorporates all patient entertainment including TV, Pay TV, Internet and Skype etc. With built in web cam the applications of this are endless. Added features include, interfacing into medical records, which allows medical professionals to view all patient records including; patients notes, medications, x-rays etc which is all them automatically mirrored to patient records for archiving. The benefits are more time for patient care, less double up on time management for patient records remote access for Doctors, Professors and Specialists.
